La pregunta es ¿Cómo me preparo para la Navidad?

El tiempo de Adviento es la temporada de la nutrición y la temporada de espera de los resultados.

Lo que sembramos cosechamos

Un agricultor prepara el terreno y siembra las semillas, riega y proporciona lo necesario para que las semillas den frutos. Él o ella tiene que esperar pacientemente los resultados. Lo que sembramos, cosechamos. Desde el período de siembra hasta el período de cosecha, se llama la estación de Adviento.
Una mujer queda embarazada. Ella tiene que alimentar al niño en el útero y esperar nueve meses para dar a luz. El período de embarazo es el período de Adviento. Si no hay embarazo no hay temporada de Adviento, temporada de espera, no hay celebración de nacimiento, no hay Navidad.

Dar a Luz, la Eternidad

San Pablo dice que toda la creación está gimiendo ansiosamente por dar a luz hijos e hijas de Dios. El nacimiento de la creación es sembrar la semilla de Dios, la Palabra de Dios. Es como si Dios quedara embarazado. La temporada de Adviento para Dios comienza. Esta semilla de Dios tiene que crecer en los hijos e hijas de Dios. Dios espera el nacimiento de sus hijos. Dios espera la celebración de la navidad. Este proceso no es mecánico. Dios necesita la cooperación de los seres humanos.
En este sentido podemos decir que todo el proceso de evolución es el período de Adviento. El Tiempo se está preparando para la eternidad. El propósito del Tiempo se cumple cuando da nacimiento a la Eternidad. Cuando el Tiempo lleva en sí mismo la semilla de la eternidad, entonces el Tiempo está en la temporada de Adviento. Es alimentar la semilla de la eternidad para dar a luz a la eternidad.

La Eternidad está Aquí

Cuando Cristo comenzó su ministerio, la primera declaración que hizo fue: el tiempo se cumplió, la eternidad, el reino de Dios está aquí.
Todos los seres iluminados son los frutos de este Adviento, de la celebración de la Navidad. Cada vez que tiene lugar la iluminación, es el nacimiento de la eternidad, la Navidad. Todos los seres iluminados tomaron conciencia de la semilla de Dios o de la eternidad, la alimentaron y la llevaron a dar fruto. Celebraron la Navidad. Es la voluntad y el plan de Dios que cada ser humano celebre esta Navidad, se convierta en el hijo o la hija de Dios, para ser iluminado, para dar a luz a Dios en el interior, para dar a luz a la eternidad. Pero de alguna manera olvidamos esta llamada, este propósito y nos distraemos. Tomamos nuestro viaje en la dirección equivocada. Estamos bloqueados No vivimos la temporada de Adviento. Estamos satisfechos celebrando la Navidad de alguien y descuidamos celebrar nuestra propia Navidad.

Dar a Luz dentro de nosotros

El propósito de nuestra vida es dar a luz a Dios dentro de nosotros. También es nuestro nacimiento en Dios. Nuestra Navidad es también la Navidad de Dios. Hasta que eso suceda, nuestra vida es un período de Adviento. El Maestro Eckhart dijo: ¿de qué sirve que Cristo haya nacido en el pasado a través de María en Belén, pero hoy no nace dentro de nosotros?
Para tener la estación fructífera del Adviento, necesitamos sembrar las semillas de Dios, nutrirlas y esperar el nacimiento de Dios. Puede ser útil elegir un atributo de Dios (Dios tiene atributos infinitos) durante esta temporada de Adviento y nutrir ese atributo hasta que dé frutos.

Plantar una Semilla

Por ejemplo, uno puede elegir el atributo de amor y tratar de cultivar ese atributo con una o dos personas. Uno puede elegir el atributo de perdón y nutrir ese atributo. Uno puede elegir el atributo de compasión y nutrirlo. Uno puede elegir el atributo de bondad y nutrirlo. Uno puede elegir un atributo, de acuerdo a su inclinación.
Puede ser útil plantar una semilla en una maceta y nombrar esa semilla con el atributo que la persona desea cultivar y nutrir cada día, verter agua y dar estiércol. Entonces la gente puede traer esa planta para la celebración de la navidad.

Estas son las formas simples en que podemos prepararnos para la Navidad.

Season of Advent is the season of nourishing and the season of waiting for the results.

A farmer prepares the ground and sows the seeds, waters and provides what is necessary for the seeds to bear fruit. He or she has to wait patiently for the results. What we sow that we reap. From the period of sowing to the period of reaping is called the season of Advent.

A woman becomes pregnant. She has to nourish the child in the womb and wait nine months to give birth to the child. The period of pregnancy is the period of Advent. If there is no pregnancy there is no season of Advent, season of waiting, there is no celebration of birth, Christmas.

St.Paul says that the whole of creation is groaning eagerly to give birth to sons and daughters of God. The birth of creation is sowing the seed of God, the Word of God. It is As if God becomes pregnant. The season of Advent for God begins. This seed of God has to grow into sons and daughters of God. God waits for the birth of her children. God waits for the celebration of Christmas. This process is not mechanical God needs the cooperation of human beings.

In this sense we can say that the whole process of evolution is the period of Advent. Time is preparing for eternity. The purpose of Time is fulfilled when it gives birth to eternity. When Time bears in itself the seed of eternity then Time is in the season of Advent. It is nourishing the seed of eternity to give birth to eternity. When Christ began his ministry, the first statement he made was: the time is fulfilled, the eternity, the kingdom of God is here. All the enlightened beings are the fruits of this Advent, the celebration of Christmas. Whenever enlightenment takes place, it is the birth of eternity, Christmas. All the enlightened beings became aware of the seed of God or eternity, nourished it and brought it to bear fruit. They celebrated Christmas. It is the will and the plan of God that every human being celebrates this Christmas, grows into the son or daughter of God, to be enlightened,to give birth to God within, to give birth to eternity. But some how we forget this call, this purpose and are distracted. We take our journey in the wrong direction. We are blocked. We do not live the season of Advent. We are satisfied celebrating someone’s Christmas and neglect to celebrate our own Christmas.

The purpose of our life is to give birth to God within us. It is also our birth into God. Our Christmas is also God’s Christmas. Until that happens our life is a period of Advent. Master Eckhart said, what does it profit if Christ was born through Mary in Bethlehem in the past but he is not born within us today?

In order to have the fruitful season of Advent we need to sow the seeds of God, nourish them and wait for the birth of God. It may be useful to choose one attribute of God( God has infinite attributes) during this season of Advent and nourish that attribute until it bears fruit.
For example one can choose the attribute of love and try to cultivate that attribute with one or two individuals. One can chose the attribute of forgiveness and nourish that attribute. One can choose the attribute of compassion and nourish it. One can choose the attribute of kindness and nourish it. One can choose according to one’s inclination.
It may be useful to plant a seed in a pot and name that seed with the attribute a person want to cultivate and nourish it every day, pouring water and giving manure. Then people can bring that plant for the celebration of Christmas.
These are the simple ways we can prepare for Christmas.
