I distinguish between RELIGION and Religion. The word RELIGION means to re-legare, to rebind or relink our broken relationship with God.
Religion is a belief system. It has a boundary to protect and a possible ambition to expand its boundary and increase its numbers. Where there is a need to protect a boundary and the ambition to expand a boundary and increase its numbers, there is inherent violence. This inherent violence produces external violence. Religion as a belief system belongs to the historical manifestation of God or Truth. It is important but limited. Human beings have the potential to transcend the historical manifestations of Truth and enter into direct communion with God. RELIGION makes this communion possible.
Religion divides humanity. It builds concrete houses and makes people to settle down. It creates believers. It blocks the evolution of human consciousness. People spend time and energy to protect the house they have built. This contributes for division, conflict and violence in the world.
RELIGION makes people pilgrims of Truth. As pilgrims people do not build permenant houses but temporary tents for resting. As pilgrims people do not fight with each other but help each others. People have nothing to argue about. People share their experiences and move on. It is a journey from the known aspect of God into the unknown aspect of God.
If all people become pilgrims of Truth then they contribute for peace in the world.

Distingo entre RELIGIÓN y Religión
La palabra RELIGIÓN significa re-ligar, volver a vincular o volver a vincular nuestra relación rota con Dios.
La religión es un sistema de creencias. Tiene un límite para proteger y una posible ambición de expandir su límite y aumentar su número. Donde existe la necesidad de proteger un límite y la ambición de expandir ese límite y aumentar su número, existe violencia inherente. Esta violencia inherente produce violencia externa. La religión como sistema de creencias pertenece a la manifestación histórica de Dios o de la Verdad. Es importante pero limitado. Los seres humanos tienen el potencial de trascender las manifestaciones históricas de la Verdad y entrar en comunión directa con Dios. LA RELIGIÓN hace posible esta comunión.
La religión divide a la humanidad. Construye casas de cemento y hace que las personas se calmen. Crea creyentes. Bloquea la evolución de la conciencia humana. Las personas gastan tiempo y energía para proteger la casa que han construido. Esto contribuye a la división, al conflicto y a la violencia en el mundo.
La RELIGIÓN hace a las personas peregrinas de la Verdad. Como peregrinos, la gente no construye casas permanentes sino tiendas temporales para descansar. Como peregrinos, las personas no luchan entre sí, sino que se ayudan mutuamente. La gente no tiene nada de qué discutir. La gente comparte sus experiencias y sigue adelante. Es un viaje desde el aspecto conocido de Dios hacia el aspecto desconocido de Dios.
Si todas las personas se convierten en peregrinos de la Verdad, entonces contribuyen a la paz en el mundo.
